Beach Mondays
Above: The birth of Beach Mondays aka our road trip to Brighton.
In short, this is the story of 5 girls, fearlessly road tripping all the way to Brighton for just one day. In hindsight, the train would have been quicker, more cost effective and basically more sensible in every way but NO AMIGOS - we opted for the team strengthening and character building experience of piling into a wheezing 2003 Nissan Micra (love you Bertie) and taking a 2 and half hour trip to where British seaside began. Brighton. It is damn delightful there I will tell you that, even though there is no possible way to negotiate a pebble beach gracefully. Literally you think it's going to be fine and then BAYM you're walking like a pregnant granny. I feel like even the locals haven't cracked that yet. So enjoy the documentation of Beach Monday - I was relentlessly hipster and bloggertype all day to the point where I sickened even myself.
